This setting allows you to assign specific items to specific printers. If you have more than one printer and want certain items to print on a particular printer, follow these steps.
This is especially useful for restaurants with separate kitchen sections that want to route kitchen dockets to the appropriate printer based on the printer’s location.
From the Web Portal:
- Log in to your web portal
- Click on Settings
- Click on POS Device Settings
- Under Printer Configuration Section:
→ There will be a list of printers
→ Click on “Assign Products” to a Specific Printer
→ Select the items that you want to assign
→ Click on Save
- Save Configuration
→ Refresh the System once from “Manage”, and do a test order. Check if the items are printed on the correct allocated printer.
From POS System:
- Click on Manage
- Click on Settings
- Click on POS Device Settings
- Under “Printer Configuration” section
→ There will be a list of printers
→ Click on “Assign Product” to a Specific Printer
→ Assign specific items to this specific printer.
→ Click on Save
- Click on “Update”
→ Refresh the System once from “Manage”, and do a test order. Check if the items are printed on the correct allocated printer.
